The AeroPress represents a revolution in how we enjoy coffee at home. This small device offers a rich and flavorful experience in every cup, combining practicality with professional quality.
The History of the AeroPress
Alan Adler, an engineer passionate about inventions, created the AeroPress in 2003 after becoming frustrated with traditional coffee makers. He was looking for a method that extracted better flavor with less bitterness.
After two years of development and 30 prototypes, the AeroPress was launched in 2005 at Coffee Fest Seattle. The device combines air pressure with filtration to extract a flavorful coffee with reduced bitterness.
World AeroPress Championship
The World AeroPress Championship (WAC) began in 2008, starting as a local competition in Oslo. The event has grown significantly: in 2023, the championship broke its participation record, receiving more than 5,000 competitors.
More than 60 countries participate in the competition, demonstrating the global impact of the AeroPress on coffee culture.
